1. What Tijori is

Tijori is a record-keeping app for household gold, silver and other precious items, together with this website and its guides and calculators (together, "the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Not legal, tax or financial advice

The Service, including the safe-harbor meter, the guides on this site and the calculators, gives general information only. It isn't legal, tax, financial or valuation advice, and it doesn't create any professional relationship. Figures such as CBDT thresholds, GST rates and hallmarking rules are summarised from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date. Consult a qualified professional, such as a chartered accountant, before acting on anything in the Service.

3. Your data and your responsibility

Your register is stored only on your device. You're responsible for keeping your device secure, turning on the app lock, and keeping the original documents (bills, deeds, certificates) safe. Tijori doesn't replace original documents. We can't recover your data if it's lost, deleted, or your device is lost or damaged.

4. Accuracy of what you record

The Service shows what you enter. We don't verify weights, purity, HUIDs, bills or ownership, and a record in Tijori isn't proof of ownership by itself.

5. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse-engineer the app or this website, except as allowed by law.

6. Purchases

Tijori is a paid app. The price (₹250 in India) is shown on the app store before you buy, and the purchase is handled by that store under its own terms, including refunds.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tijori and its makers aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, gold, money or documents, arising from use of the Service or reliance on its information.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
