No account and no server. Your register and photos live only on your phone, behind your fingerprint or device PIN. Android's cloud backup is switched off for Tijori, so nothing leaves the device without you.

Tijori is a register, not a gold-rate ticker. It records what matters when you need to show where a piece came from: the bill, the hallmark, the jeweller's details, a gift deed or a will.

Fields for karat and fineness, hallmarks, craft styles, bank lockers, gold loans and old-gold exchange. Every piece has an owner in the family. In India, it also knows BIS hallmarks and HUIDs.

Add a piece in under a minute

Take a photo, give it a name, choose gold or silver, and enter the weight and owner. That is enough to save. You can fill in the rest later, when the bill turns up.

Everything the bill says, and where the piece is now

You can record the hallmark (and in India, the HUID); gross, net and stone weight; the jeweller, their tax number and the invoice number; and the rate of the day, making charges and tax. Each piece also shows whether it's at home, in a bank locker, or with a relative.

In India: a safe-harbor meter for each person

For families in India, Tijori adds an extra. Indian tax guidance says officers shouldn't seize gold jewellery up to 500 g for a married woman, 250 g for an unmarried woman and 100 g for a man during a search. Tijori adds up each person's gold and shows how close they are to that line.

It only warns you when someone is over their amount and has pieces with no proof attached. It also tells you which proof to look for: a bill, a gift deed or a will.

Bridal sets on one bill

A wedding set bought on one invoice is saved as a set. You enter the jeweller, bill and payment once, on the set. Each necklace, bangle and pair of earrings still has its own weight, owner and location.

What Tijori doesn't do

An app that holds a list of your family's gold should do less, not more.

No cloud account

There is no login and no server copy. Nobody but you can open your register — including us.

No gallery sync

Photos taken in Tijori are stored inside the app, not in your camera roll, where Google Photos or iCloud would upload them.

No live gold rates

Tijori records what you paid and what the bill says. It doesn't watch the market or push you to sell.

No tax advice

Anything Tijori says about rules, like the Indian safe-harbor meter, is information with its source cited. For your own case, ask a tax adviser.
